lost is back! seriously!

wednesday is here, and just like that, almost gone. funny how we so look forward to these days only to watch them flash by in the blink of an eye. what? was i the only person looking forward to "wednesday in general?" cause, you know, wednesday's are cool.

to figure out that it actually was wednesday (because watching lost an hour ago didn't really drive that point home enough) i took a look to my left. see, right to my left is this lovely wall. and that wall is normally adorned w/ one of those large "blotter" type, desktop calendars. it's nice and big, i can see the dates from a distance, and they provide a good deal of space for me to be able to write down things i need to, on the two days every three months i have something to actually do. but sadly, my calendar was for the year 2005, and for those of you paying attention at home, that has officially come and gone. so for a good week i sat here, confused as to why the days and dates weren't matching up w/ what websites and my computer was telling me. i kept thinking, "damn, i need me a new calendar." never did i actually get up and get such a thing, but goddamn did i think the hell out of it.

so today, w/ my "d.i.y." attitude (that's like a tv channel or something now), i threw caution to the wind and went on ahead and fixed it up all nice. i ripped off the final month (which was december for those wondering, or, you know...retarded) to expose the cardboard backing. a sharpie, a bunch of horribly sloppy lines and ten minutes later, voila! january 2006 is mapped out as far as the eye can see. i'm quite proud of it myself. i'm thinking of maybe making a line of hand drawn calendars. who wants one? they really class the place up, trust me.

so yeah, wednesday. lost. fantastic. i gotta say, i was psyched, to the limit, for the return of lost. what i did not realize was how psyched i was until the show started. and then it all came flooding back, and let me tell you, i was PSYCHED. and an eko episode no less! sweet jesus! i won't go too in depth, since some of you may be on the west coast, and/or downloaders/dvr-er's, but it is fucking great to have that show back. eko like a motherfucker!

so i'm watching this show on nesn today, some sort of "sox news" or some shit. let me tell you, yikes. what an awful show. even more awful because eric "freide" (or whatever the fuck his name is) was filling in as host. those who watch the sox on nesn know that asshole. he's the dickbag that sits in the crowd w/ awful updates on players, and shitty interviews w/ fans, all the while coming off like the biggest dickhead around. he even seems like a bigger dick than remy. seriously, he is impressively dick-ish. anyway, bottom line here is that this show had segments teased at the open that made me believe i'd hear something of interest, even a rumor or something. but alas, an interview w/ francona and what amounted to a recap of the great big "nothing" the sox have been up to was all i got. so thanks a lot eric "fuck-eide." and yes, that's seriously the best i could do.

that being said, i am pooped. another "creative" day for me, which is carrying over into the blog a bit. more entertaining than this thing has ever been i can assume. so i'm gonna throw the wraps on this before i drone on and get boring for the sake of writing something. if i can keep writing regularly this may become a shorter post, so, we'll see what happens. even though it's shorter though, i think it's better. trust me, the sox are on the verge of pissing me off monumentally i'm assuming, so a long post will be on it's way, you can be sure of that. plus, it also seems that all the movies i made last summer are planning on having premieres at the same time in march, which is also looking like the same time i'm planning to go to sox spring training. so, that'll be one hell of a vent if that ends up happening. lots of anger on it's way is what i'm saying. so that'll be fun. for now, enjoy the rest of the week. this rain and thunder/lightening is nuts! enjoy it whilst you can! later!
