monday eh?

man, i totally forgot it was monday! here i am, watching MONDAY night raw, thinking about how bored i am and wasting away the last couple of hours w/ nothing to do. then raw comes to an end and it was a special episode in afghanistan, for the troops and all, so they recap it w/ one of their patented music video montages. this one though was extra special because it was to, my boy and yours, say it w/ me now, scott stapp. more specifically his new single, "i'm a huge fucking douchebag, doesn't it rule", or something like that. and THAT made me think how much i wanted to talk about scott stapp, more so on this here blog, and then bam, it's monday and i need to go post!

now that everyone is up to speed, and so happy to be so, let's see what's happening. not much. i'm sleepy and ready for bed, and would have had a much better post hours ago, but this is all you get today. i saw both king kong, and the chronic! what? cles of narnia! this weekend. i also saw snl which contained excellent song after excellent song, culminating in the finest rap performance given in years. if you've yet to see it, head on over to nbc.com, it's all up on there and good god is it hilarious. i've seen it many, many times now, and continue to be completely entertained. good times indeed. if you've yet to hear about it, man, i can't imagine how that's possible as it seems everyone else has enjoyed it as much as i did, and it's totally blowing up the scene. i hope it's just the first of many, many more awesome works between these fellas.

so yeah, kong and narnia reviews later in the week. i can tell you now they're both pretty "glowing." just in case you were all like, "oh man, i want to see them, but i've gotta wait to see if stahl recommends them!" i do, whole heartedly. both. kong more than narnia, but that's kind of a no brainer. though i cannot deny that narnia is infinitely cooler after andy samberg and chris parnell hit me w/ that dope ass rhyme.

what else, what else? well, we're down to, seriously, like five days til christmas. seriously. it's fantastic. i'm incredibly psyched, and living it up. i've still got a little bit of shopping here and there to do still, which is a bit of a pain in the ass that i didn't wrap this up yet. i totally thought i would have been done weeks ago, but, who was i kidding? i went out this afternoon, and target was a fucking mad house for some reason or another, before people should have been out of work.

shit, now that was one boring thing to chat about. target? that's my cue to wrap this fucker up for the evening. and w/ that i am off to bed. and i'll chat w/ you guys wednesday, at which time we'll be two days closer to christmas. good times. later.
