can we be lovers AND friends?

happy friday everybody, as well as happy december. man, november didn't even really happen did it? but it's all good, cause christmas is right around the corner now. so, you know, hooray for that.

back to rent for just one more minute here. my full, "in depth" take on it was in wednesday's post, so feel free to check that out for all the crazy things i had to say. later that night though, rent soundtrack playing in my head still, i think i came across my perfectly succinct rent review. rent the movie is like, 25 (or however many songs are actually in the movie) loosesly connected music videos. it does not often times feel as one whole piece, and that it what takes you out of it. that and the fact that chris columbus also is an awful music video director. which all adds up to something less than the sum of it's parts. and that's that.

now i, you, we can all move on w/ our lives. and move on we shall. though to what, i do not know. very little seems to be happening to strike my fancy these days. there are a few things, like this story that interests me and disgusts me entirely at the same time, so it makes for an interesting read. and then there's connecticut, representing as always. and let's not forget about "hurricane season", or what should now just be called "normal" or "everyday."

but nothing super interesting overall. and it's friday. and i'm about to go enjoy a weekend of christmas shopping and movie theater going, so that is that. what will i see? who knows, but if you guessed in the mix, god i wish you were right. ur-sher! oh man, i forgot about that song, now i'm gonna go sing it in the shower. what a way to kick this weekend off. so all y'all motherfuckers have yourselves a good one as well, cause i am out of here!
